To achieve our ambition, ASBIAFRICA creates production hubs that based on a standardized approach develops housing projects without losing individuality. ASBIAFRICA build apartment blocks with 16 or 20 units and each production hub has a capacity to develop 240 houses per month.
A production hub consists of five activities at one location. A prefab factory for concrete structure; an assembly factory for: windows, doors, frames, kitchens, and a maintenance shop. The logistics is part of the production hub. To assemble all parts, the building organization has been integrated in the hub. A typical facility requires around 14 hectares. Each production hub offers 100 direct jobs and 350 jobs on the construction site, and whereby all our employees will be staffed at the production hub in our own houses. These activities will also accelerate the business of many local companies.

The houses are built according to European standards and have an expected lifespan of 100 years and more.
Developing green and safe communities and a direct impact based on
UN Sustainable Development Goals 7, 8 and 11.
ASBIAFRICA’s communities and buildings have integrated solar parks on the roofs and the surroundings to create energy and so directly contribute to SDG 7, affordable and clean energy. Each community creates a minimum of 1 MW solar energy, whereby 10% of the benefits will be redirected to support the community, e.g., playgrounds etc.
Building safe and green communities creates sustainable economic growth and decent work which contributes to SDG 8 and SDG 11 in which cities become inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Besides the parcs and the playgrounds that impact the direct life of the people each production hub offers 100 direct jobs and 350 jobs on the construction site.
These activities will promote local small medium enterprises to deliver their services e.g., on landscaping and gardening. Our employees will be housed, receive health insurance and we take care of their children be granting access to schools.
Our three founders, the De Wit, Van den Hof and Dijkman family have a long-standing history in construction. Being 700 years active in this field of business, one can really state that the founders have their roots in construction and are backed with experience.
The De Wit construction history is dating back to early 1700. One of their first invoices that has been archived is from 1741 for carpentry and mason activities. Over a timespan of over 250 years, the family business developed and had a made some major growth pad. As of 1964, we build complete houses, including a carpentry factory since 1980. With the changes in Europe and the fall of the Berlin wall, the business expanded into the development of commercial real estate and large housing projects in the Netherlands and Germany. Berlin was our key focus on developments and a such comparable with our task we found ahead in Africa.
The Van den Hof and Dijkman family construction history is dating back to the 1946, with a strong focus on carpentry at the start and construction in the nineties. Today the focus is on real estate, restoration, rebuilding and housing developments.
For the founders, Africa was the logical next step, and as founders, we are now over ten years successful in operating in a changing and challenging working environment of being active in various countries in Africa, whereby we make a positive impact to the daily lives of people.
